Remember the meeting tonight 6:30, south end of arena. K-53 is one lane from Mulvane city limits to the Belle Plaine road then it goes back to two lanes till you get to the turnpike then it’s one lane again to US-81, it’s not terrible but we recommend you come down US-81 or take the turnpike or allow an extra 10-15 minutes using K-53.

REMINDERS

SHOWDOWN IN THE VALLEY
-what you need to know!!!

-PRAY THE WEATHER FORECAST CHANGES!!! Saturday is not looking good
-club meeting this Thursday, April 19th, 6:30 at the Casino Arena, we need all volunteers to attend.
-K-53 will be being re-surfaced from Mulvane city limit to US-81, estimated 15-20 minute delay, if you are coming this way to the Casino allow for the delay.
-we have sold out, the inside parking is full.
-orange "Staff" shirts will be avaiable for those of you who ordered them, Cheryl will be handing out. Wear the shirt on Saturday.
-just like in the past we need cases of water to give to particapants and volunteers, bring a case Thursday.
-we will establish teams to do the following:
     -stuff goodie bags, need 5-10 people
     -need 2 people who can print neatly to write sponsors on white boards
     -need 2-4 people to help sit up registration/merchandise area
     -need 2-4 people to help sit up raffle and trophy area
     -need 6-10 people to help mark floors
-Marauders who bring your classic rides on Saturday, will be parking outside of the fenced area, our guests and some Vendors will be parking in the fenced area.
-only volunteers wearing your orange "Staff" shirt are allowed in the Green Room, this room is a break area for volunteers only!
-check with your Team Captain and confirm when/what you are scheduled to support the show.

-Bierocks, Diane is making bierocks ($7) or grilled Bratwurst ($6) meals (hot german potato salad or cold potato salad) on April 19 the day of our club meeting, there is an order sheet at the legion that you can place an order, or you can email her at dnelson67@cox.net with your order. If you place an order you must pick them up that day. She will also be serving them at the Legion starting at 5:15-6:30, if you want to drop by and have a meal and then head out to the Casino.

A quick note about car show weekend. K-53 will be being resurfaced starting April 16th and down to one lane traffic, we are suggesting people use the turnpike or US-81 to get to the Casino. Please let your friends know.

LAST BREAKFAST
Tomorrow Saturday April 7th, at 8:30 am, lets have a big turn-out, bring a potential new member and they eat free, this will be our last breakfast until we begin again in the Fall. It's going to be a cold morning and you really need a hot breakfast!! We will have Showdown flyers available.

CLUB MEETING
-we will meet at tha Casino Arena at 6;30 to sit-up for Showdown in the Valley, we need all volunteers to attend. Drop by the Legion for a Beirock or Bratwurst meal then head out to the Casino(see below).

2019 MARAUDER CALENDAR 
We need 2 members to Co-Captain putting together a 2019 Marauder Calendar, please let a Club Officer know if you are willing to captain this effort, club officers will also help. We have all the contact information necessary, the biggest effort is just arranging for the picture shoots ONCE THE PICTURES ARE DONE AND AD INFORMATION RECEIVED, STEVE CAN GET IT TO ENVISION FOR PRINTING.  We would like to start this effort right after Showdown in the Valley, we should have no problem meeting the October deadline for printing. Full page ad for calendar is $150 and 1/2 page is $75 - two businesses can go together and purchase an ad for a specific month.  We can accomodate specific months as long as we can - first come first serve!!  We will discuss further at future meetings.

Mulvane O'Reilly Grand Opening tomorrow 7:30-9 pm, door prizes and cookout from 4-6 pm, so if you have time drive your hot rod down and welcome them to Mulvane, let's try and have a dozen cars there for the cookout, weather looks good should be alot of fun.

, tonight March 15th at 6:30 pm at Mulvane American Legion, I have been informed that Legion has decided to provide a breaded tenderloin sandwich, chips and a pickle free to any Marauder member at our meeting as an appreciation of our ongoing relationship with the post. So if you attend the meeting just tell them at the kitchen window you are a Marauder and get a free dinner, if you want to leave a donation just leave it at the kitchen, be sure to thank them. At the meeting we will be discussing "Showdown in the Valley", it is only 38 days away!! We only have 26 inside spots left so if you know anyone who wants to park inside at the show tell them they need to get their registration in quickly. We will have flyers available at the meeting for everyone to take and pass out at shows/events.

Don't forget breakfast this Saturday!!
Where: Mulvane American Legion

Cost: adult $8.00, child 10 and under $5.00, 3 and under free, remember we need 30+ members, family friends to attend to make it worthwhile for the Ladies Auxiliary to continue making breakfast for us, so lets show up!!! Bring a new member, dues are only $15 right now!!! This may be the last breakfast this year so let's all show up.

Club Dinner and White Elephant Gift Exchange
Over 50 members, family and friends enjoyed a wonderful Mexican meal, as usaul Diane and her team did an outstanding job of preparing and serving the food, a great big "THANK YOU" to her and her team. The gift exchange was a big hit as usual, along with the 50-50 pot, and raffle of the metal Marauder sign. Check-out the photo gallery on our website for pictures of this fun event.

PARTY PARTY PARTY!!  48 members, family and friends have signed up for the Club Holiday Dinner, to those of you who signed up, here's what you need to know:

Where: Mulvane American Legion
When: Sunday February 25th
Time: 1:00 pm
What's for dinner:  Mexican dinner of tacos, both chicken & cheese enchiladas, drunken beans, nachos, pork chili verde (bar will be open).
What to bring: bring your favorite dessert for everyone to try!
Entertainment: we will have 50/50 pot and we will be raffling off one of the metal Marauder signs.
White Elephant gift: if you want to particapate in the white elephant gift exchange, bring a gift and get a number at the door, this has always been fun!!!

WARNING-WARNING,  TIME IS RUNNING OUT on Club Dinner!!

Dinner is at 1:00 at the Mulvane American Legion, bring an appetite, a white elephant gift(if you want) and a dessert, the club will provide the main meal. The Ladies Auxiliary will be serving a Mexican dinner of tacos, both chicken & cheese enchiladas, drunken beans, nachos, pork chili verde, water or tea, the cash bar will be open if you want a different beverage. All additional family or friends are welcome but will need to pay $5 per plate for all ages, if you bring a guest who joins the club there's no charge.
